newspaper man, after a pleasant visit in Hunter headed his car down southeast of Hunter winding up at Fairhaven Farm, owned by A. N. Gibbs, just east of Zent. Here we found “'everybody working including father.” Mrs, Gibbs was in charge of the little store and there were 30 or 40 patrons lined up to be waited on. One little Gibbs was busy measuring up potatoes, weighing sugar, etc and another with the father sp was in ihe field. Mr. Gibbs has a beautiful hillside spot for his residence and inside of the house is a marvel of pretty coziness showing just how comfortable and inviting an ordinary farm house can be made by the cleyer planning of an enterprizing woman. A pretty and scientifically arranged young peach orchard with 460 young Reaner (improved Elbertas) trees, adorn the hillside to the west of the Gibbs home, Mr. Gibbs is an experienced orchard man and the thrifty growth of the young trees shows his cleverness. From ‘‘Fairhaven’' the Argus Auto was headed back home. A short stop was made at Clifton’s new store at Zent. Young Mr, Clifton has the Cotton Belt Agency at Zent. He was formerly with P R. Anderson but has gone in business for himself, building a neat little store building.
