Elmer StellingServices for Elmer Stelling, 78, of Lamesa, were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Downtown Church of Christ, with Bill Morrison, pastor, and O H. Tabor of Lamesa. officiating.Burial was in Lamesa Memorial Park under direction of Branon Funeral Home.He died Sunday afternoon at Medical ArtsHospital here following a lengthy illness.Stelling was owner and operator of Stelling Safety Service in O’Donnell for many years. He married Idona Smith on June 27,1947, in Lamesa. He hadlived in Lamesa since1962.Survivors include his wife; a son, Capt. Jimmy D. Stelling of San Antonio; and two grandchildren.
