MARK A. TOZERObituaryMark A. Tozer, 24, of 3840 53rdSt., Des Moines, died Tuesday, April 20 at the University Hospital, Iowa City, apparently of encephalitis after a two-weeksillness.Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, at the Emanuel United Methodist Church. The body was cremated. A lifelong resident of Des Moines, Mr. Tozer was assistant superintendent of the Jaster Golf Course. He was a graduate of the Roosevelt High School and attended Grand View College. Surviving are his wife, Kirstin; a brother, Kirk of Scottsdale, Ariz.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen W. Tozer, DesMoines; and his grandmother, Mrs. Loraine Kerns.The family requests memorials and contributions to be given to the Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Des Moines, for intensive care.
