ELECTRA TIGERS ARE FOURTHWITH HOUSTONTEAMS IN TIEAUSTIN, Texas. May ft. ^-Two field record* were broken Saturday in the Texas university track and field meet, for high schools, from which Forest Avenue high of Dallas emerged with first place in points won. Polytechnic high of Fort Worth and Jefferson Davla of Houston tied for second place with 10 points each- Winning first Sn both the 100-yard dash and the 220-yard dash. The pentathlon waa composed of five selected events.Seven men tying for pole vault honors complicated the division of points. Since the event normally was good for 11 points each of the seven were given 14-7 points each, Teams winning five points each were: Oak Cliff. Abilene, McKinney, El Campo, Roseoc, North Side of Fort Worth, Kaufman.Main Avenue high of San Antonio got four points and the following got three each: Nocona,Hamilton, Alamo, Rosenberg.John Kegan of Houston and Gainesville got two points each.
