'i * * . •Mr. Stockman is a son of John*Stockman of Wardsville, who has recently acquired a tract of land near*the St. Thomas ferry. He has repair-ed the house near there and the couple will make their home- there. Miss Mertens is the pretty \and popularI 9daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Mertens. The wedding is being held at their home.
