The attendants were: Miss Hilda .Stockman and Carl Mertens,and Miss. Annie * Mertens and Ray-' ^mond .Stockman. The wedding ceremony was followed by a nuptial high mass. . -Mr. Stockman is a son of John*Stockman of Wardsville, who has recently acquired a tract of land nearlt;the St. Thomas ferry. He has repaired the house near there and the couple will make their home- there. Miss•iMertens is the pretty \and popularI 9daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Mertens. The wedding is being held at their home.
