Vincent died in this city at 5.30 o’clock last evening, May 2, after a long illness.Susan Walker, daughter of the late Dr. William Walker of this city, was born in Cameron, W. Va.\ in 1854, and came to Monmouth with her parents in 1802. She was a student of Monmouth college in the class of ‘7:3. In August, 1876, she was married to Dr. A. S. Vincent, and since then has resided in Brighton, Iowa, Spring Ilill, Ind., and l’axton, 111. Last September the family came to Monmonth for the purpose of educating their children, Bessie, Grace and George Vincent.Of Mrs. Vincent’s brothers and sisters, John and Will Walker are in Louisiana; Bruce Walker is in railroad employ in Indiana, while Lizzie and Mrs. McClure reside on the Pacific coast.The funeral will be conducted at the First United Presbyterian church at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning.
