Tlilt afternoon ail the Cheyennes now here were turned over to Agent Mile® bv C«cii. Neill in pursuance of an order from Gen. Tope. I am reliably informed that all these Cheyennes arc to be taken to u uew reservation inside of two weeks, and ate to be henceforth under the charge of ex-Congrcseinuu Shanks, of Imlimm. This new reservation, I understand, is in the vicinity of the section of country now occupied by the Modoc*. The bauds of Little Kobe, Whirlwind atul White Shield will, at their option, remain where they now are, or accompany the others. These three hands it will be remembered did not gu on the war path last summer.A party of Osages have recently passed westward from their reservation, and have been paving their com-plimcuts to a number of stock men holding cattle in the Territory. A few days since they killed u number of cattle belonging to a Mr. Dean, and stole live horses from the Koxkin* on Pond Creek, and also five horse*, belonging to the Sawed Horn herd The stock men were preparing to leave the.
