I am reliably informed llmt nil these Cheyennes are to be taken to a uew reservation inside of two weeks, and ate to be hence for Hi under the charge of ex-Congrcseman Shank*, of ludiann. This new reservation, I understand, is in the vicinity of the section of country now occupied by the Modoc*. The bauds of Little Kobe, Whirlwind and White Shield will, at their option, remain where they now are, or accompany the others. These three bauds it will be remembered did not go on the war path last summer.A party of Osages have recently passed westward from tlieir reservation, and have been paving their compliments to a number of stock men holding cattle in the Territory. A few days since they killed u number of cattle belonging to a Mr. Dean, and stole five horses from the Koxkius on Pond Creek, and also live horse* belonging to the Sawed Horn herd The stock men were preparing to leave the.
