-------J .We aie informed for certain, that the inimitable Mr. Fawkes, ever ftudious to divert the Town, has purchaled for a large Sura of Money, though leveral Foreign Gentlemen bid high againft him, that moft curious Piece of Machinery, lt;made by Mr. Pinchbeck, Mufical Clock-maker in F leet-ftreet, in the Form of a Temple ; with two moving Piftures; the one reprefenting a Concert of Mufick ; the other a View of the whole City and IjBay of Gibraltar, with Ships under Sail, tacking about, c. and that the faid Mr. Fawkes defigns to expofe the lame in a fhort Time to publick View among his other ingenious and diverting Performances.
