Ingwersen will be honored for his 30-year service record at Gulf States Utilities Company's 20th annual service club dinner meeting at 7:30 p.m. on May 9 at the Port Arthur Country Club, it was announced today by A. C. H a n d I e y, Jr., superintendent of the company's Nederland district.Mr. Ingwersen is residential sales representative in the Nederland district. He will receive his service award emblem from Roy S. Nelson, chairman of the board and president of the company.The award dinners are held annually to honor employees who have completed 10 or more years of service with the company. Nearly half of the approximately 2, 800 employees have 10 or more years service with the company and over 20 per cent have more than 20 years service. Awards will be made to 175 employees for 10 or more years of service at this year's dinners.
