Prof. H. B. Allen Given Educational HonorsNews of the election of Prof. JjJarold B. Allen to Phi Delta Kappa, national honorary fraternity for men in the educational field, has been received here by his mother, Mrs. Edith Allen, women’s dormitory house mother.Phi Delta Kappa is national in scope and has high standards for admittance. President George M. Potter has for many years been a member. Wilbur Curtis, superintendent of the Alton public schools, and C. C. Hanna, principal of Alton high school, are the only other Alton members.Allen was initiated along with several others, at a banquet held in Ann Arbor last week.
