Marion Couktv Democratic Convention.—On last Saturday, April 30, the Democrats pf Marion county met in convention at the Court House, at 10 o’clock, A. M., pursuant to a call of the central committee of the county, to select delegates to attend the Democratic State Convention to be held on the 25th of May.C, C. Campbell was called to the chair, and H. Vandegrift and Emsley Wright appointed Secretaries.On motion of N. B. Palmer, the chair appointed £./W. H. Ellis, A. F. Morrison, W. J. Brown, Emsley Wright, P. Hosbrook, Powell Howland, S. Delzell, J. hi. Talbott, and Y. E. R. Wilson, a committee to select the delegates to the State convention.On motion of E. W. F. Ellis the following resolution was adopted:JtesohtJ^ That each township be entitled to ono delegate, and one additional delegate for each fifty democratic votes and each fraction over twenty-five votes, given at the last presidential election.The committee then retired, and after some deliberation returned, when l)r. Chapman, the following resolution was unanimously adopted:Resolved, That this convention has full confidence in the capacity and integrity of Albert G.
