The Texico Wolverine girls track team kept their winning streak intact Saturday by sweeping the Melrose Relays by 19 points. It was the 6th straight track meet the Texico girls have won this year The Texico girls finished first in six events and piled up 87 points. Elida took second with 68 points, with Melrose grabb ing the third position with 50 Ruth Ann Scott, the Wolverines’ outstanding sophomore, took two firsts, win ning the discus with a throw of 92 ° and the #00-meter run with a time of 2:37.69 The Texico boys finished se cond in the meet with 62 points Tatum took top honors with 128 points.
