During the month of May he will travel aboard the Anna Jackman with the Rev. Jack Anderson, as a visiting logging camp minister.In 1913, when working as a lumberjack in Northern Minnesota Channer was converted to Christ and beeame a Presbyterian minister. For over 40 years A1 Channer traveled the bapkwoods of Minnesota and Wisconsin and later Oregon and Washington preaching in logging camps.In 1948, Dr. Harry Rimmer, ■wrote a very interesting and authentic book about him , entitled, “The Last of the Giants'*.The Rev. Chaner is now retired and lives with his wife in Portland, Oregon. 'There will be a coffee hour in honor of the Rev.
