Mrs. Davie Toney, of Clear Creek, has been notified by the War depart ment that her son, Pfc. Bart ley Toney, has been missing in action in Germany since April 3. The tele gram said if further details are received prompt notifi cation would be made. Pfe. Toney has been in service since January, 1943, and went overseas in June, 1943. He was with the ground forces. Prior to enter ing the service, he was employed at the Willis Branch mine.
