Mrs. David Dutler DiesLonjr Illness With Heart Trouble Fatal to La Porte Citv WomanFollowing a long illness of heart trouble, Mrs. David Duller, wife of the late David Duller, died -it 1:45 a. in. Sunday, April 30, atthe home of her daughter, Mrs. Ciyde Jenks.Kate Dutler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Kahlor, was born at Fort Byron, Illinois, December 2l, 18G7. She received infant baptism in the Lutheran church of Port Byron, and was a member of the Lutheran church*At the age of two years she came to Benton county with her! parents, nnd msidc her home here] until Feb. 21, 1SB7, when she married David Dutler anti moved to Reinheck. Five vents Inter they moved back to Bunion county anti settled on a farm where she made her home until the Spring of 1020, when thc5’ reined and moved to La Porte City.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her oldest son, limil, who died in service in the world war, one sister, Mrs. John firoady, Nebraska, and one great gi anddaughtcr, Karen Ann Kenner.She is survived by three children, Mrs. Clyde Jenks, Clifford and John, all of La Porte City; four sisters, Mrs. Amrlia Struve, Mrs. Til lie Wandschneidcr, Mrs. Sophia Wundschneidcr and Mrs. Rebecca Kvuckcnburg; two brothers, Grover and John Kahler, all of near LaPorte City; five grandchildren, Marlin Renner, Jean Jenks, and Lloyd, Robert and Dorothy Dutler.Funeral services were held at the Barnhart and Johannscn funeral home, with burial in West Viewcemetery.Out of town persons attending the funeral were John Broady of Tecumsiih, Nob.; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Brandy, Teeumseh, Neb.; Mrs. Karl Pohlmnn, Teeuniseh, Neb.; Mrs. James Struve, Albia, Neb.; Mrs. Karl Byons, St. Joseph, Mo.; Mrs. Anna Schlotfelt, Shellsburg; Mrs. Lena Srhnuek, Rcinheck; Mr. and Mrs. Chris Pclersen and Mr. Sam -j Dutler, Audubon, IoWjij Mr. and I Mrs. Karl Benton, Adair, Iowa; Mrs. Grover Williams, Mrs. Mablc Beach, Mrs. Clara Shea of Waterloo, Iowa.
