NWJJ. 1b-u-ir:eitgLock Horns in Death Struggle at Woolvin Hall.Fritz Hanson and WIno Ketonen, two of the best wrestlers in the country, today at their weight, will battle for the supremacy tonight at Woolvin Hall, and the sporting population will -he there to see for itself which is the better man. The match promises, and a! will, without doubt, eclipse anything i- 'of a like nature ever before staged in a Wilmington. Both men are ready for a the fray and both are confident of winning, while not underestimating theprowess and ability of the other. Following is a copy of the agreementsthat have been signed and which will |[govern the battle. They read:Agreement.Wilmington, N. C.,May 2, 1917.“This agreement, entered into thisthe second day of May, 1917, by andbetween Fritz Hanson, of Wilmington, N. C., and Waino Ketonen, of Chicago, 111., to bind a wrestling match to be held in Woolvin Hall, this city, Friday night, May 4, 1917, at 8:30 o’clock,witnesseth:“The match shall be held at Woolvin Hall at 8:30 o’clock, Friday night, May 4th;The referee to be either J. B. Mc-■Gurley, Burt Hudson or Mr. Dusban,| !of Greenville, S. C-, former physical director in Y. M. C. A. gymnasium, this city; f“The match to be two falls out of j three to a finish;“Each man to post $50 with referee by noon of the day of the match, as guarantee to make weight and to guard against fouling. This money to be forfeited by either failing to make weight or for fouling;noiu»»“Toe hold to be barred on offensive, but may be used on defense to break hold;. Neither man shall apply oil or grease to his body, which is to be subjected to inspection of the other! wrestler before the match starts;“There shall he no gouging, biting, scratching, hair-pulling or any other deliberately unfair tactics. In suchcases when manifest injury is clearlyapparent referee shall warn offender j that repetition will result in award of fall to opponent;“No heavy shoes nor steel supportsalonsides shall be worn by either wrestler, each to have privilege of inspecting other man’s shoes beforematch starts. Also wrestlers’ hands shall be inspected by each man;“Each man shall protect himself when standing against ropes.
