On last Friday afternoon the Aid met at the church parlors with Mrs. l W. 1). McKinney, Mrs. E. V. Snipes, , Mrs. Minnie Daniel and Mrs. J. B. j Parham, who compose the Ways and Means committee. The purpose of this meeting was to turn in talent money which had been given out ' two months ago. Each member—34 ! in number—was given one dollar to use and make other money. An interesting account of how each mem ber improved her talent was given. The snug sum of $128.00 was realized. Mrs. Homer C. Smith and Mrs.! M. J. Perry made the largest individual sums—$15.00 and $12.00 re-spectively.
