Mr. and Mrs. John Brown and children, of Manasquan, were the Sunday guests of the former's moth er Mrs. Alice Brown, here, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Camp bell, of Prince Hay, 8. T., spent Sun day here at the residence of the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jud son Green, Mrs. Bertram Shelters and chil dren, Burtus, Jr., and Miss Wiste, of Runyon, were the guests of friends at Perth Amboy Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Brendell and daughter, Miss Rosie, of Run yon, were noticed among the local shoppers in Perth Amboy Saturday afternoon. Merritt . Bloodgood, of Perth Amboy, was entertained over the weekend at the residence of his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin ©. Bloodgood, in Runyon. James Hickey, Sr. of Runyon, was looking up old friends in Perth, Amboy Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. George Andrewe, at Main street, “spent Saturday with their daughter, Mrs. J. H. Peterson in Perth Amboy. Fred Wellman, of Main street, was the guest of friends at Matawan over the weekend. Oliver H. Hoffmann, president of the Old Bridge Stating Company, will vacate the Laytan_dwelling and wove into the bungalow owned by J. K Silvester, A. B. Kise, secretary of the company, will occupy the house left vacant by Mr.Loffman. Miss Olivia Rogers was returned to het hove at Hast Orange, after a few days visit here at the residence of Mr. and Mra. Stockton Rogers. ‘Mr. and Mrs. John Applegate, of [South Amboy, were the recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Applegate in Main street. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Appleby en joyed Sunday as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Wilbur Van Dyke in East Spotswood. Zeke Waite, of New York city, was the guest of Miss Chrystella Appleby Friday evening. Floyd B. Rue, of New York city, spent the weekend at the residence of his parente, My, and Mrs. George D. Rue. Mrs. William Reid, of Morgan ville, is visiting at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Charles H. Reid, here, Mrs. J. M. Perdun and daughter, Miss Nellie, were shoppers in Perth Amboy Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Harry Widredge, of Summer Hill, was a New York chopper Satur day afternoon.
