K£aLY TO SHOW.Yesterday afternoon Prof. Longeforth, tlie great parachute jumper, arrived in the city, ready to take part iu the entertainment to be given this afternoon by the Oklahoma Hi-torical Wild West at the Frtirgruuuds. The professor Is the king of jumpers and soars one nud a half miles in the air nnd then, with the aid of a parachute, leaps out and speeds to the ground, making a daring and thrilling act. The balloon, balloonist and parachute are now on the ground, ready for work.All day yesterday the different people of the show were rehearsing their parts for the entertainment to take place this after-noon and evening. The stage coacn robbery. the catchiuz of the hor'ii thief, the lido for life and for a bride are new features and excellently well acted. The show cannot fall to please, aoi a? every act is crowded close on the heels of the preceding Jone there is none of that weary waiting between so common to most shows. The roping of wild horses, the riding of bucking bronchos, the beautiful Spanish senoritas, and the .shooting of Captain Bogardu* mid his three sous and that of S. F. Cody Jr- and wife, pistol | shots h» the eat that can be found iu the I land.Not a feature but has been carefully roll-arsed and acted. The people are iu fine condition and make a great show in them- 1 selves. The Indians riding wild horses and the gay dresses of the performers gives a general air of Wild West to every new move.i T 6 show will give nn entertainment I this afternoon and evening and Sunday | afternoon and evening. The Sunday show will introduce the ludian method of wor-I ship nnd demonstrate the way in which the cow punchers observe the day. As this is a jhome enterprise nnd starts from thin cityin its tour t will no doubt be greeted with , a large crowd at every performance.
