John Stalder, left, Vice Commander of the American Legion, Sixth District of Ohio, congratulates Madison Post 105 Commander, Dr. M. J. Chakeres on the “Most Distinguished Service” award pre sentation given Wednesday evening at the May Legion Meeting. The award was presented after the regular program had been conducted. Stalder was lavish in his praise for the activities of the local post, and commended the members for their close work with Commander Chakeres and the other officers.
