Pickering Names New CommitteesNew Village Board Meets; Ordains New Board of Local ImprovementsTwo of the newly elected members were unable to be present at the Village Board meeting Tuesday, May 1. Mr. William Gladville is still ill with pneumonia which he contracted soon after his election, while Mr. F. W. Prindiville is at present in California, having been called away hurriedly on business. This left only Mr. Henry Pearson to be initiated into the mysteries of membership in the Village Board. The new board passed an ordinance at this meeting creating a new Board of Local Improvements composed of the following: W. M.Pickering, chairman; S. J. Cowing, C. A. Menzel, Joseph Schwarz, H. F. Pearson, William Gladville, and F. W.
