HIGHLY ESTEEMED RESIDENT PASSES AWAY AFTIOR LONG SLANDESS, Special to the Times-Journal. Dyersville, la. May 3.—Mr. John Bell, an esteemed resident of this city, answered the final summons at his home in this city Wednesday noon, after an illness of more than a year's duration. However, his condition was not considered serious until a few weeks ago. The decedent was 52 years of age and was born near Worthington, Iowa, where he grew to manhood. He was united in marriage in May 1884, to Miss Mary Miller at the Catholic Church at Worthington. Several years were spent at this place, after which he purchased a farm in North Fork township, where they resided until three years ago, whence he re tired and built a home in Dyersville. Besides his wife, four children mourn his death. They are Clarence Will, and Miss Genevieve, residing on the homestead, and Alice, wife of John Arnold, of North Fork. He also leaves his aged father, Mr. Robert Bell. The following brothers and sisters also mourn his death: Thomas Bell, of Minneapolis, George, of Storm Lake, Will, of Mena, Ark,, Mrs. Robert Moon, of Storm Lake, Mrs. McWil liamas, of Nebraska, ‘The funeral will take place Saturday morning at 9 o'clock to St Francis’ church and the interment will be in St. Francis’ cemetery.
