BALTIMORE, May 2.—Today’s game was an interesting contest until the ninth inning, when the Orioles made a bunch of four errors, allowing the champions to score four runs without a hit. Umpires—Hunt and Connolly. AT PITTSBURG. PITTSBURG, May 2.—Pittsburg finally won from Stt.. Louis, after one of the most stubbornly contested games seen here for years. It was full of in cidents, too. Gardner’s hand was split in the fourth-inning; Bowerman was put out of the game for talking back to Smith; O’Connor was taken from the bench by pol cemen and off the grounds; several St. Louis players were fined, and the scene closed with hooting and jeering, the crowd following Umpire Smith to the dressing room.
