Bayles^ formerly of Elmira, was found dead near Moorhead, Minnesota, on Saturday last,having committed suicide' by opening the carotid artery. He was the son of Dr. Henry Saylea, formerly aleading physician of Ithaca, in partnership with Dr. John Stevens. Dr. Henry Say lee was a brother-in-lawof Robert, Henry and the late William Halsey. He is supposed to havetaken his life while laboring undermental depression on account ofbusiness troubles.
