Turner exhibits only one Piece, and that scarcely entitled to be a Landscape ; and Calcot has not favoured us at all# Turner’s is No. 195, The Decline of the Carthaginian. Empire. . It is. almost wholly composed of water and architecture. The groups of figures are drawn with elegance and spirit. The architecture Is invented with almost inconceivable mimmficeirce. It is executed in a most masterly style.
