Hawks’ Graff Accounts for Only Double Victory Despite a brilliant premier performance by Brad Graff, the Xavier High School track team, fell 40 a well-balanced Manito woc Roncalli squad, 71-47, Thursday afternoon. Graff, making his first track start of the year, won the 100- and 220-yard dashes to net the Hawks two of their six firsts in the 14 event meet. Graff won the 100 with a time of 10.6 seconds and capped the 220 with, a 123.5 timing. The Jets took eight firsts, and eight seconds. Neither team slammed an event, and Graff was the only double winner. Roncalli, however, did get good performances from Bill Censky and Pat Bargenbuch. Censky won the high hurdles with a time of 16.25 seconds. He finished second in the low hurdles and tied for third in the high jump. Bargenbuch won the 440-yard dash in 53 seconds and placed second in the 100-yard dash and the long jump Bill Pfefferle and Ed Wenning picked up a first and a second each for the Hawks. Pfefferle won the high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 9 innches and was second in the discus Wenning won the low hurdles in 21.9] seconds and took second in the high jump. Other Xavier winners were Jim Erchul in the shot put and Dick Koller in the pole vault.
