Thursday, Moy 2, 1968Greek CornerPi PhiThe Illinois Alpha of Pi Beta Phi held its scholarship banquet last Monday evening to honor those Pi Phis who attained academic tumors in the previous term. Recognisedwere Katie Smith for the highestJan Sod ers fromgradcpoint for i97-68 with a 3.9. Katie and Mary Lindsay achieved the highest gradcpoint in the Senior Class 2nd lenr. with a 4.0 gpa. Bette Van Natta achieved a 3,67 for the Junior Class award, and Jo Anne Rravos received the Sophomore Class award for her 3.5 gpa. The Pledge Class Scholarship Award was given to Jane Smith.Founder’s Day was celebrated April 27. Jan Scderstrom, the Pi Phi Alpha Weekend guest was honored at the banquet Cathy Pasztor was named the Outstanding Pledge; Linda Wicherl and Peggy Gam well received Chapter Service Awards. Sara Wyant was selected as the outsland ing sophomore in Iota Province.
