. L S. GaynorSaturday, Sunday and Monday saw searching, parties on I*ake OkobojS looking for Mrs; E. S. Gaynor of Sioux City, who came last Thursday to their cottage at Elm Crest' near Miller's Bay, and whose upturned canoe was found north of Manhattan Beach Saturday evening, a distance of two miles from the cottage. *. The Gaynors ^ planned - to move to their cottage when school i* out-and Mrs. Gaynor came last week to put it in shape, j Mr. Gaynor is a iuraberrnan in Sioux City, ami a son of Rev. E, H. Gaynor, rector; emeritus of St. Paul’s Episcopal church.Many residents in the lake region joined the search Monday with Ash nets, and an airplane was used in an effort to locate the body should it still be in the lake, although relatives still cling to the hope that she swam to shore and is ill in some cottage. Mrs. Gaynor was an ardent sports woman, known for her daring. Mr. Gayuor is directing the. search.Mrs. Gaynor is dS years of age and the mother of six children.State and county officials are still working at this time in an effort to locate the missing woman.
