FATHER DIED AT DAYTONHeber Phelps was notified by tele* phone Friday of the death of P, Jones, father of Mi's. Phelps, which occured at his home in Dayton, Idaho, last Frl* day- :Mr. Jones was about 70 yearsofge. He will bo remembered by many in Montpelier, having been associated Ith Frank Miles in the milling business for many years. He and Mr. Miles ejected the old~“mill-near-the-cnyon which was destroyed by fire two or three years ago, and the two operated the mill for a long time,
