He h.ldresided in Monroe City atut 7years*Mr, Ragland was twice married,both wives preceding him to the grave fie in survived by nine children, five boys and four girls, alsotwo brothers, Alex Ragland, of Palmyra, and James Ragland of Hannibal.Mr Ragland served in the Confederate army during the rebellion.| He was a member of the Christian church for many years and was aquiet unassuming gentleman with lew if any enemies.
