Desires to Enter the List of Full«■Fledged Nations.An agitation for a special Icelandic (lag Is strongly pressed in Iceland.The country holds a favored position in the Danish monarchy and all Us demands, particularly in the direction of home rule, have been granted In recent years. Denmark, however, main* tains that so Jong as Iceland belongs to her the Danish flag must tfe the emblem of the islanders. The mimic* ipaiity of Revjavik has agreed to dis-play an Icelandic (lag during the com templated visit of the king and there are reports that nationalistic demonstrations of other sorts will be made. Foreign nations having trade and fishing interests in Iceland are encouraging the movement and would be glad to see Iceland entirely separated from Denmark.
