Gem dealers and rockhounds from Colorado, New Mexico and Texas are expected in Lubbock i this weekend for a gem and rock ishow sponsored by the Lubbock Gem and Mineral Society. The exhibition, at the Municipal Garden and Arts Center, 4215 Col lege Ave., will include mineral exhibits, fluorescent displays and polishing demonstrations. On display at the Friday-Sun day show will be the first-place Slate exhibit prepared by the Lub ‘hock society. Other displays will include alabaster carvings and Scraftsmanship exhibits of polished stones and jewelry nine by area club members. A special showing by 13 gem dealers from the three-state area has been arranged. It will include various types of agate, mineral and crystal specimens, opal and fine gem rock, jewelry findings, jade, and gemstone — polishing equipment. Boor prices will he awarded
