Happy Home club was enter tained recently at the Girl Scout cabin with Mrs. Louis Tuma, hos tess and Mrs. Harry McCord, as sistant hostess. Nineteen mem bers responded to roll call with an improvement they would like to make in their surroundings. Mrs. L. S. Hiatt read the devo tionals and Mrs. Clyde Wilson led the lesson “Nebraska Trees.” Mrs. Frank Knocke and Mrs. Ike Bower conducted a spelldown. The regular meeting at the ¥. W. C. A. rooms with Mrs. Donald Welsh, hostess, will be guest day and Mother’s day will be observed. New Elevator At Daykin The north elevator was razed and a new five thousand bushel capacity elevator of all concrete is being erected. The Tillotson Construction Company of Den ver, are doing the work. It is owned by the Farmers Co-oper ative, a company of local far mers. John Endorf is the man ager. The old elevator was sold to a Swanton firm who will use the lumber for building purposes. Mrs. Frank Andrews of Denver is here visiting her cousin, Mrs. Forrest Hosier Jr. She will spend a few days visiting other relatives and friends.
