Sgt. George Hellman President of Outdoor Enthusiasts In an effort to promote better sportsmanship among enthusiasts of hunting and fishing, prominent Southtown men recently organized an association to be known as the Marquette Gun and Red club. Acting officers of the club, which already numbers 14 in membership, are Set. George Hellman, 328 W. 64th st., desk sergeant at the Engle wood police station. president, and Olaf B Gustafson 7316 Fairfield are. who is a patrolman at Engle wood secretary and treasurer. The club will hold its next meet ing at 8 o'clock on Monday, May 20, in the home of David Reidy, 6129 Sacramento ave. Other members of the organization include Louis Reiner and James Frawley, 5139 Morgan st.; Gerald Veith 1611 Michigan ave; Willam Crow, 733 W. 64th st.; Martin Jennings, 5106 Halsted st; George Gendron, 6337 Francisco ave ; Dr. Julius Auerbach, 1931 “SV. Dermak rd: Pfeifer 6333 Washtenaw ave: Wiliam Dennis 10624 Langiey ave, and William Dennis, Jr., 7316 Fairfield ave. New members are invited to join the organization which plans to make field trips in a body and also intends to enter shooting and bait and fiv casting contests
