Poughkeepsie BranchAt a meeting of the Poughkeepsie Branch of the Associate Alumnae held at the home of the Misses Troy on Southeast Avenue, Doctor Thelberg spoke most inspirmgly of the work of women in hospitals in the Near East. The report of the Edna St, Vincent Millay reading which was held at the local high school on January the eleventh was given byA. IE Kent. Over a thousand dollars was cleared from the reading and sale of her book after the reading. Five hundred dollars was given toward furnishing the dining room in Alumnae House and the Endowment pledge of the Branch was completed. At the March meeting held at the Tea Shop, Miss Wylie spoke, to the delight of her listeners.
