126 THE CHIROPRACTORor lens, at all times from the external world, which are conducted to the brain and interpreted, and these impressions reach the brain through some other source than by means of the five educated senses. Notonly does man possess this so-called sixth sense, but also the loweranimals. Some men possess it to a very marked degree, but I believewomen, as a rule, are more highly developed along this line thanmen. In this day and age of the world we have wireless telegraphy.Messages are sent great distances without the aid of wires. Thought force is transmitted very much in the same manner. There is always a sending station and a receiving station.During the operation of the sixth sense, I believe there are at leastthree cycles at play. There is a cycle Innately or educationally withinthe unit sending the “message.” There is a second cycle performedbetween that unit receiving the message,” and there is a third cycle performed between the innate intelligence of the unit receiving the“message.” This carries the rule of three, which is in accordance withthe law or laws governing Chiropractic philosophy, science and art.Again, how correctly man educationally Interprets the impressions received from innate intelligence, who receives her impressions from some other source, whether it be the sixth sense operating, or some other one of the known or unknown senses, depends entirely upon the normality of the cycles existing between his innate and educated. If we do not understand something of the cycles we are all at sea, for we have no other compass, tior sun, nor moon, nor stars to guide us.As I study and try to live more and more within the innate realm, I am inclined to believe the sixth sense, If we might so call it, lias a far greater opportunity for its development and making itself known to educated man now than ever before in the history of mankind. Why did you stop the other day on the street and question that “queer fe. ling, that came over you. You received promptings from somewhere that something terrible had occurred. For a few seconds you forgot your surroundings, and did not really know- where you w?ere. Shortly you receive a message—perhaps a telegram—bringing the news of the death of a elose friend or relative. You learn the tragedy even took place just at the time that “queer feeling” prompted you.On another occasion, perhaps, you were in the city. Three or four blocks ahead of you on the street was an old acquaintance. A person whom you had not seen perhaps for years. You do not know he is within a thousand miles of you, cr that he is really alive. Yet you think of him. You doubtless talk to some one else about him. You actually feel or think you see him, and yet you don’t in reality. You keep moving on up the street, amidst crowds of people, and you meet him face to face, and to your surprise he says, “I was just thinking about you.”^ ’V t ‘ • •'-£*- :*.**•. ’,#w» • . \ lt;« • ' -Jv: . o* ■!., • • ‘ f * • • • *: *• •*•. o,( * . • '■•A v .
