Many Certificates to Members of Boy's Corn Club. It is wonderful what an interest has been awakened among the boys of Virginia in the matter of making several ears of corn grow where only one used to come, says the Richmond Times-Dispatch. The certificates of merit offered by the Governor of Virginia have all been made out, signed, sealed and delivered, and 262 boys throughout the State are the happy owners of these certificates as a result of their good work last year. The certificates are of three grades: First, to boys who raised 100 bushels or more to the acre: second, to boys who grew seventy-five bushels or more up to 100, and third, to boys who grew fifty bushels or more to the acre up to seventy-five bushels. The following members of the Rockingham Boys’ Corn Club, of which C. W. Wampler is demonstra tor, received certificates of second and third grades. With their names appear the number of bushels of corn raised to their one gore of land, Lester B. Hoover, Timberville, 75; Amos H. Burkholder, Harrisonburg, 79; D. L. M. Cupp, Dayton, 75; John O.
