EVENING DANCE.The young people of Newport have not had a dance in some time, and this may accout fur the large attendance at the ball of Monday night, which was held in the Bailey building. Morgan’s orchestra furnished excellent music and a fine time was enjoyed by those present, who included, Messrs. and Mesdamds E. D. Bracy, Peyton Ferguson, J. L. Sells, W. A. O’Neal, Mrs. J. L. Bishop, Misses Cpra Parish, Josie Phillips, Pearl Warner, Maude Richardson, Kate Bishop, Mary Laird, Lou Minor, Gene Bandy, May Ward, Claire Johnson, Marille Dillard, Miriam Handford of Bates-ville, Essie Walker of Poplar Bluff; Messrs. Sprigg Foushee, George Stuckey, Rafe Richardson, W. C. Daniels, Fred Parish, Tom Dillard, Will Parish, Will Egan, F. P. Skip-with, Robt. Laird, Jr., Ed Sprigg, John Prewitt, Harry Brandenburg, Dr. Owen Walker, Dr. Black and Frank Gullett. ......
