Women's League holds Sunday luncheonNEWPORT — The Women’s Newport League Inc. will hold its annual luncheon Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Best Western Mainstay on Admiral Kalbfus Road.This is the first time the Women’s Newport League will be honoring men. The honorees are: Rev. Alvin T. Riley Jr. who also will be the guest speaker; Paul Gaines; John SommerviUe; Jimmy Winters and A1 Cook.Tickets cost $30. For more information, call 849-1477.
