FARMERKILLED WHENENGINE HITS CARGeorge Trainor, a prominent farmer and stock buyer was killed at Winthrop last Friday, when a switch engine hit the automobile in which he was riding. The other occupants of the car were, Ludey Frank, driver, A. D. Ownby, and Mr. Swartzel.The three men including the driver jumped to safety, but Trainor, in jumping was caught and thrown under the car when struck by the engine. Trainor’s chest was crushed, breaking every rib and his left ankle had a compound fracture. The car was carried thirty feet on the cow catcher of the engine. Trainor leaves a wife, and six children, one brother and foursisters. Frank the di-iver told he hadstopped the car before crossing the track and that when he started theswitch engine had the same distance to go before making the crossing.vv A Trti rnp i irv a vn \frri7a
