An interesting and helpful service was held at the Poseyville Christian Church on last Sunday night. The audience numbered over two hundred and the singing was very effective. At the close of the sermon two were received into the membership. The residence occupied by Dave Hun gett, on the Dr. Geo. C. Smith farm, north-west of town, was destroyed by fire Thursday. The cause of the fire is not barned. Mr. Hungett lost consid erable of his household goods which in his circumstances makes the loss quite severe on him.
