In many instan-s where people were able 10 carry eir goods from houses they were mpelled to leave piles of nierchan-s in vacant lots and seek safety in gilt. The fire lic-ked up the little llections of articles representing entire possessions 01 many fames and continued to reach out for her dwellings.The only building which was not istroyed is the brick block occupied the Carbon National Bank. While e building is damaged it is believed at the safe withstood the fire. Buses? men say that nearly all the ildings in the business district re insured and it is expected that actically all will be rebuilt at once.
