JUDGE TIES HIS FIRST KNOT-Judge Brownlee is a man of many and varied experiences but until Thursday he had never married a couple, lie has now experienced the pleasure of making two hearts happy.Charles Belville and GertrudeAsken of Upland were united in marriage Thursday at i o’clock in the clerk’s office, Judge Brownlee officiating. The request to officiate was made to the Judge after hg had returned from dinner. He attempted to recall the various forms of ceremonies he had heard repeat ed but they did not come to him readily so he united the couple under a ceremony of his own composing which is said by those who were witnesses to have been very impressive.--News.
