The appointment to the position ot librarian to the Victorian Railways Library bos fallen to Mr. Willard Vardon. There were 73 applicants for the poat Mr. Vardon is a retired army officer, and waa at one time connected with the State Railways of India. He also acted as librarian to bishop Titcomb, the first Biahopof Rangoon, and now coadjutor of the bishop ot London.
