Alcohol Education Day planned for HighThe Rotary Club of North Haven wilC sponsor an Alcohol Education Day at the High School, East Campus, on April 6. The day’s topic will be “Let’s Talk About Alcohol”.Supporting the Rotary Club in this year’s program is the Alcohol Education and Program Services division of the Town of North Haven.Alfred Flagg is this years chairman for the Rotary Club. His committee included Frank Diamond, Gilbert McCrea and James Mahon. Coordination for the School was handled by Associate Principal Robert Scelzo.Students will be given an in depth look into alcoholism, alcohol abuse and its effect on society. The program will offer five films, including “The First Step”, shown by Mrs. Francis Clark of the Alcohol Council of Greater New Haven Board of Directors, and “Alcohol, Drugs or Alternatives”, shown by Frank Rizzolo, ' Executive Director of the Shirley Frank Foundation.“Conspiracy of Silence” will be shown by Ms. Edith Jaquiery, Director of Education Alcohol Council of Greater New Haven; “99 Bottles of Beer”, shown by Kevin Kinsella, Conselor in the SCADD Alcohol Program and “The Secret Love of Sandra Blaine” shown by Mrs. Rita Arciuolo, Welfare Administrator for the Town. All of these individuals will lead discussionswith students following the film presentation.Another program will focus on the (drinking driver. Stanley Prybiski, instructor at the Municipal Police Training Center in Meriden will present it and William Knoth of the Rotary Club will be the panel moderator.“Alcohol On The. Job” will be presented by Mr. A! Lazuk, Counselor Southern New England Telephone Company, and moderator Gilbert McCrea is scheduled.George Bossom Community Services, Donald Olson, Youth Investigator, North Haven Police Department and Reverend Richard Diehl, North Haven Congregational Churchwill present “Alcohol And The Juvenile”.“Alcohol And The Black Youth” will be presented by A1 . Price and Allan Williams of Dixwell Opposes Alcoholism, Paul Barbiero, Jr. North Haven Rotary Club will serve as moderator.The Speakers for “Alcohol And The Law” will be Lt. Donald Corazzini North Haven Police Department and Mr. Vincent Jennette Alcoholism Counselor Veterans Admin.
