Defendants Are Charged With Having Swindled Group of Albany Men A Shackelford county grand jury in Judge Milburn S. Long's 42nd district court at Albany Friday re turned indictments against three Fort Worth men, named as officers and directors of the General Neon Sign corporation, and Grover C. Butler of Albany, according to in formation received here last night. The four are charged with having swindled a group of Albany business men comprising the General Neon Sales company of Texas, to the amount of $15,000. Fort Worthson indicted are Emmet A. Jones, president of the General Neon Sign corporation, and George Stribling, Jr., and J. C. Ray mond, directors. Each of the four was granted bond of $3,500. The cases are set for trial Thursday, April 4. The three representatives of the Neon Corporation and Butler are also sued civilly for $17,600 by the Albany group and the civil case is set for Monday. April 1. Plaintiffs in the case, stockhold ers of the Neon sales company, are: W. R. Nail, president; Thomas L. Blanton, Jr., vice president; John H. Sedwick, secretary-treasurer; W. G. Webb, W. Graham Webb, John F. Sedwick and Richard C. Dyess. The plaintiffs’ petition sets out that the Albany men as individuals made a contract with Jones, acting for the Neon Sign corporation, for distribution of that company’s prod ucts in Texas; for which right it is
