Rudolph Ruzika and family, of Grandview avenue, leave tomorrow for Bohemia, where they will spend the coming six months. —— ‘The Union Service of the Methodists and Presbyterian Churches was held Sunday evening in the latter church. ‘The Fire department was called out late Sunday afternoon to the home of Mr. Roth to extinguish a roof fire, which, it was said, to be caused by the burning of soft coal. On aecount of the large number of measles cases in this community, the fist six grades in the public school were dismissed Monday morning and will resume studies on April 9th. ——— Mrs. Haucke, of Ashford avenue, en tertained her mother-in-law, @ resident of Long Island, on Sunday. Dewitt L. Tucker has completed a ten weeks’ advanced business course in New York City. “— ‘The play, “The Visit,” which was presented by the Dramatic Club, was a great success. In spite of the bad weather there was a fairly large at tendance. The proceeds, which a mounted to about $50.00, will go to ward a fund’ to be used by the Senior Class for their trip to Washington. —— William, Runkle, who is attending Exeter Academy, is spending the Easter holidays with his mother, Mrs. Bertha Runkle. — ‘Miss Martha Hazen is spending the holidays with her parents.
