The people around Playville are very slow with their farming. Mr. Council Roberson was the guest of Major Roberson Sunday. Mr. Robert Turner and Council Roberson were the guest of Mr. W. F. Alligood Saturday night. The whooping cough around here is spreading. Some are faring bad. We are preparing for the com mencement day, hope everybody will enjoy the day. Mr. Thad Congleton and family were the guest of Mr. Dan Congle ton and wife Sunday. _ Mr. Commar Alligood and Miss Caddie Roberson were out driv ing Sunday. Mrs. R. J. Alligood has purchased a very fine organ. We will have music now. Mr. J. M. Alligood and wife were the guest of Mr. Jessie Hodges Sun day. Miss Annie Roberson and Miss Eva Alligood made a flying trip to Washington Monday. Mr. L. F. Cotton and wife were in our midst Sunday. Mrs. J. H. Roberson was the guest of Mrs. W. F. Everson Sun day evening. I don’t know what the boys will do around Playville when our school teacher leaves. The Shy Bird.
